Регби входило в программу летних Олимпийских игр: Париж-1900 (Франция), Лондон-1908 (Австралия), Антверпен-1920 (США), Париж-1924 (США). Далее МОК исключил регби из программы Олимпиад.
Кстати, бейсбол и софтбол вроде исключены к 2012 году из программы Олимпиады.
